Shawn Wood
PRESIDENT
As the owner of Tallahassee Construction Group Inc., Shawn Wood’s expertise is far-reaching. Since 1996, he has offered a wide range of disaster restoration services, including mitigation services, reconstruction, consulting, and general business advice. His experience in disaster restoration extends from Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Fort Myers, Florida. He was selected to participate in the 9/11 cleanup at the Pentagon, where he spent 5 weeks assisting a large group of restoration technicians in cleaning many corridors and rings.
Shawn also assisted in recovery efforts for Hurricane Floyd, Hurricane Isabel, Hurricane Charley, Hurricane Frances, Hurricane Ivan, Hurricane Dennis, Hurricane Katrina, Tropical Storm Faye, Tropical Storm Hermine, Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Ian, Idalia, and among thousands of homes during his 30-year tenure.
Shawn is certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, and Mold Remediation (MRSR 2053). He is also a certified General Contractor, Florida #1526523, and extremely proficient in Xactimate software systems.

I am excited to be a part of the Tallahassee Construction Group team as the Business Development Manager. Born and raised in Tallahassee, I am proud to serve the community that has always been home. Before joining the construction industry, I spent many years as a special education teacher, where I developed strong skills in leadership, organization, and project management.
I am eager to bring these skills to Tallahassee Construction Group, helping guide growth opportunities and supporting our clients through every step of their projects. I absolutely love seeing how construction can transform a space, and I look forward to building lasting relationships within our community.
